POPULAR NIGERIAN CELEBRITY STYLIST FACES JAIL FOR STEALING JEWELLERY FROM MICK JAGGER'S DAUGHTER

A popular celebrity stylist based in UK is facing jail time after stealing Jewellery worth over 30,000 pounds from Singer, Mick Jagger's daughter.

DM reports that Ojuri 'Charles' Adesanya, 29, pocketed the bespoke jewellery from Jade Jagger after claiming it would be used for a bogus fashion shoot in women's magazine, Harpers Bazaar China. Adesanya used the same ruse to dupe aristocratic designer Celia Weinstock into handing over more than £143,000 of jewels, using a forged letter from a previous genuine commission from the fashion magazine to secure the handmade gems.

Adesanya, whose clients include boy band JLS and Golden Globe winning actress Jessica Chastain, swindled jewellery worth a total of £367,949 - including £129,700 from Frost of London; £55,835 from EC1 Jewellers, and £8,555 from designer Kristjan Eyjolfsson.

He then pawned the items for a fraction of their value in a bid to clear mounting debts, Southwark Crown Court heard He appeared in the dock at Southwark Crown Court today smartly dressed in a black suit and tie and spoke only to confirm his identity and plead guilty to five counts of fraud and four further counts of theft.

The scam took place between August 6 2013 and May 7 2013. A further fraud count in relation to procurement of a £3,000 suit from top designer Alexander McQueen, using the same method, is likely to be left on the court file.

Adesanya, from Chafford Hundred, Grays, Essex, had initially denied the charges and had been due to stand trial in May. Adjourning sentencing for reports, Judge Alistair McCreath released Adesanya on bail but warned him that all options were open when he returned for sentencing on 28 July.

On his website, Adesanya boasts of being a 'cutting edge stylist' who jet-sets between New York, Paris, London and Los Angeles.Among his clients are Petra Ecclestone, Camilla Alves, the model wife of actor Matthew McConaughey; DJ Nick Grimshaw and Grey's Anatomy star, Jesse Williams

Chris Brown Set To Have RealityTV Show

Chris Brown is reportedly being lined up for his own reality TV show. Black Entertainment Television (BET) is eager to sign a deal with the ‘Loyal’ hit-maker, who was released from jail earlier this month, as they want to create a series based on his life after prison and his battle to stay out of trouble. 

A source told TMZ.com: ‘BET has made it clear to several production companies the network would absolutely air a Chris Brown reality series, chronicling his life after jail.’ The US network allegedly held a focus group on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 in San Fernando Valley, California, to gauge the reaction of prospective viewers. 

The group comprised of female participants was split, but the majority said they would tune in to the show, just to watch the 25-year-old singer struggle. 

Chris was released from jail on Monday, June 2, 2014 after serving 108 days for violating his probation, which stemmed from his assault on his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. The ‘Yeah 3x‘ hit-maker who was sent back to jail after being thrown out of court, ordered rehab in March is determined to stay on the right track and only take the medication prescribed for his bipolar disorder. An insider said previously: ‘He’s going to be taking his prescribed medication daily and do his best not to smoke or even drink.’ Chris was originally sentenced to 365 days in custody on Friday, May 9, 2014 after admitting he violated his probation by getting into a fight in Washington D.C. last year, but Judge James R. Brandlin gave him credit for the 234 days he had already spent in rehab and jail....

Fayemi’s Concession Of Defeat A Propaganda Stunt! He Has Not Been Picking My Calls- Fayose

The Ekiti State governor-elect, Mr Ayo Fayose, on Thursday in Abuja, said that the concession of incumbent governor Kayode Fayemi to defeat was a propaganda stunt aimed at eliciting public sympathy.

Fayose told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that although Fayemi at the weekend conceded publicly and congratulated him, the governor had not picked calls from him since then.

“The governor said I am conceding to defeat. Let me be realistic with you, there is a difference between propaganda and reality.

“I have been calling the governor since after our meeting but he hasn’t picked the call.

“If you read all papers now, he said I will create local governments before I go; how do you reconcile these things?

“I am not a propagandist, I am a realist. The governor says he will do employment before he leaves that means you want to create problem for the incoming government.

“So I see that concession, as good as it may be, we must all be realistic about it, we must not deceive the Nigerian populace.

“Their party said we are still studying the ink used by INEC; it is the governor that conceded not our party,” he said.

2face Idibia slams N100million lawsuit against Icon magazine for Libel

2face Idibia has slammed a N100million suit against soft-sell magazine, Icon Weekly, for libel. The Media/Entertainment Law Firm of L & A- Legal Consultants has filed libel proceedings on behalf of  2face, at the Ikeja High Court asking the court to award their client the sum of N100million being damages for the libelous publication posted on the magazine’s online and print platforms.

In March this year, Icon alleged that 2face committed adultery by impregnating a 'Lagos top banker' who is supposedly his account officer in one of the new generation banks and that infact, the lady had every intention of keeping the baby. The story went viral, which 2face later denied.

A source close to the music icon said the story, which was found to be false, made 2face lose a very lucrative deal and caused ripples between him and his wife. Icon weekly is said to have approached 2face’s team for discussions on a possible out of court settlement.
