Adamawa State Governor Served with Impeachment Notice

The Adamawa House of Assembly has served the governor of the state, Murtala Nyako and his deputy, Bala Ngilari with an impeachment notice. 
The notice which was signed by 19 of the 25 members of the Assembly, was served on grounds of  “gross misconduct,” Vanguard reports.
Commenting on the situation, Nyako stated the following via Ahmad Sajoh, his Director of Press and Public Affairs:
“Members of the House are planning something that will end up making them the sole beneficiaries, where the Speaker will be the acting governor and the deputy speaker becomes the deputy governor.” 
According to reports, Nyako was served with a similar impeachment notice in 2008
