Nollywood Domination! View the Full List of Winners at the African Movie Academy Awards 2013

The 9th edition of the African Movie Academy Awards was held in Yenegoa, Bayelsa on Saturday, April 20, 2013, with the theme – ‘Africa One’. The classy event hosted by Ama K. Abebrese and saw in attendance some of the nominees as well as some of the known faces in the African entertainment industry including Chioma Akpotha, Femi Jacobs, Banky W, Linda Ejiofor, Jude ‘Engees’ Okoye, Rita Dominic, AY Makun, Waje and many more.
With Nollywood movies dominating the nominations, it was no surprise that Nollywood movies won most of the categories. The AMAA 2013 prize for Best Film went to a Nigerian movie, “Confusion Na Wa”.
