The heartbeat of Lagos – Beat 99.9 FM, officially launched its sister radio station – Beat 97.9 FM in Ibadan, Oyo state on Friday 13th June 2014 at the Muave 21 Center.

Comedians Gbenga Adeyinka the 1st and Basketmouth hosted the event, which witnessed performances by D’banj, Seyi Shay, Oritse Femi, Phyno, Reminisce, May D, DJ Zeez, Saeon, Olamide, Skuki and Tillaman.

All guests including Toolz, Chris Ubosi, Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi, Jimmie Akinsola, and DJ Spinall, had a moment of silence for “Branama” singer Kefee who died that day.
