Farrah Abraham has admitted she hired porn star James Deen to have sex with her in a 70 minute porn tape.
The Teen Mom star has been attempting to explain why she made the X-rated video after initially denying any involvement.
In a new interview, the 20-year-old star confessed to Entertainment Tonight that she hired the adult entertainment star to appear in the tape with her on the advice of friends.
She recently sold the video to Vivid Entertainment for $1.5 million, but says Deen did not receive a part of her profits.
‘No. I mean besides me hiring him,’ she told the show. ‘I was like “I’m paying you to shut your mouth, you’re signing the agreement” like that’s what it was to protect himself.
‘But unless he made money off of his interviews, and those things I have no control over and that’s him.’
Farrah, who looked businesslike in a pair of heels, jacket and mini dress outside Playboy Radio in Burbank on Tuesday, said a friend had recommended she hire a ‘professional’ to make the tape.
The reality star claims that she only thought about selling the video after Deen leaked news of its existence.
‘What ended up happening was James Deen, who is in my video, thought it was okay …[to say to] the public “I did something with Farrah.”
‘But he did it in his own way of saying “I made a porn with her” and made it his own thing.
‘That’s why I was like, “Let me be one step ahead and let me gain control of my own video again.” That’s why I was meeting with different adult entertainment companies. I sold it to Vivid.’
However, despite comments to the contrary from Deen, Farrah still insists that the tape was made for purely personal use.
‘A lot of my girlfriends who are back home have done personal sexy shots, sexual videos, feminine things showing their sexuality and being happy for themselves,’ the Iowa native said.
‘Here I am the same age or younger as most of my friends, and I’m like “Why am I not [as] happy with myself as they are? Why am I not doing this for me?”‘
Deen recently said that the company who set up the video had asked him not to expose any details about the movie, but the truth came out when he and Farrah were seen holding hands while leaving Vivid Entertainment last month.
I’m trying to be respectful of Farrah and her wishes, and despite what she said, I didn’t let the cat out of the bag,’ Deen told The Today Show.
‘I can lie about it now and try to keep it confidential, but eventually the porno will come out, so it’s just prolonging the inevitable.
‘It does bother me that she got so offended, because I have no desire to say anything that’s disrespectful or violate her boundaries.’
‘This whole thing definitely created some buzz. I can tell you that the movie’s amazing in my opinion. The whole idea of doing a sex tape is to get famous, get press, Kim Kardashian-style, right?’
Vivid viewers seemed to agree, with the tape, entitled Backdoor Teen Mom crashed Vivid’s website yesterday after it was posted for the first time.
According to TMZ, the tape attracted more than two million visitors in just 12 hours Monday, breaking the record held by Kim Kardashian and and Ray J — which attracted 600,000 during the same time frame.
Farrah appeared surprised by the outcry, tweeting: ‘I can’t believe the one time I have sex in the past year has turned into this #unreal.’
The reality star seems to blatantly be acting for the camera in what was allegedly a ‘personal’ video made between the pair.
In one shot, Farrah is seen in a skin tight orange dress as she leans back on the bed, smiling suggestively for the camera as she flicks her hair over her shoulder.
In another picture, she is seen cupping her breasts as she wears just a bra, her long curly hair falling across her shoulder.
The mother-of-one is also seen lying on her stomach on the bed, wearing lacing underwear as she looks expectantly up at James while touching his crotch area.
After lamenting being a lonely, single mother, Farrah said she was crying a lot before making the sex tape, which she sold for a reported $1.5 million.
‘You have been a single mother for four years, off and on, dating loser-a** boys who always try and sell information, lie to you, manipulate you,’ she said on the Keek social video service.
Tough times: Farrah said in the video she was crying a lot, single and alone
Farrah said she just realised she was an ‘awesome person’ who deserves someone, rather than crying every night.
‘So, you make your own video, celebrate your awesome body, get your own sexy shots,’ she said.
Farrah initially denied the sex tape even existed when the news first broke out last month, but Deen confirmed it amid a media flurry.
‘So, the person you did this with has the urge to yell it out, when he should be professional and is not,’ Farrah said. ‘You have companies that are interested, so why not sell it. And that’s what I did.’
She ends her tape by putting on a pink Vivid Entertainment cap.
Farrah told RadarOnline.com earlier this week that she had sold the rights for $1.5 million after seeking $2 million.
The mother of four-year-old Sophia said she would use her windfall from the 70-minute production called Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom to complete a master’s degree and focus on culinary business endeavours.
