On April
5, Ray J announced his new single “I Hit It First,” which is obviously about Kim
Kardashian and their sex tape. He even used a blurred picture of Kim on the
cover art! In the song, Ray J refers to their sex tape by saying, “Hit it
from north/Brought her head down south/Now that I’m finished/She’s on to Mr.
West.” I think Ray J’s single is disrespectful and disgusting
Reasons
Below:
Ray-J’s
Single Is A Desperate Attempt For Fame
While Ray
J has been a somewhat successful artist, his main claim to fame was his
relationship with Kim and their sex tape. Now that Ray J has seen Kim’s fame
grow since the release of the tape, he’s obviously jealous. Ray J is making
himself look very desperate by resorting to bringing up his controversial past
with Kim in order to sell a few singles. “I Hit It First” is a failed attempt
to capitalize off of the only fame he’s had.
Ray J Is
Immature For Writing Song About Kim Kardashian
The title of the single is “I Hit It First,”
insinuating that he was the first person to sleep with Kim before she became
famous. The claim itself is extremely juvenile. He’s treating Kim like she’s a
piece of meat or a prize, rather than a person. It just seems like a lame
attempt for Ray J to try to one-up Kanye West.
Ray J Is Disrespecting His Relationship With Kim
Although the couple have been broken up for six
years, they were once in a long-term, committed relationship for five years. No
matter what Ray J’s feelings are about Kim now, it is rude and disrespectful to
the relationship they had to release this single. At one point, Ray J and Kim
were very much in love, and he needs to respect the relationship they once had
